What is Simultaneous Interpreting?

Simultaneous interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting requires a highly skilled interpreter. As the source speaks, the interpreter must translate the speech in real time.

The interpreter is usually placed in a soundproof booth, removed from contact with the speaker. Using headphones, the interpreter receives the incoming message in the source language, while using microphone to reproduce it into the target language, so that participants can hear the interpretation in their headphones.

This type of interpreting is demanding and that is why TRANSLIT provides interpreters who have resistance to stress, high concentration and excellent diction. TRANSLIT can provide this type of interpreting for your conferences, and media and court meetings.
